Sunday Evening Activities Begin September 11

AWANA club, for children age 3-Grade 5, meets Sunday evenings at 5pm.

ESL Ministry

ESLRegistration for ESL classes will be Monday, August 29 at 7pm.  Classes start Monday, September 12, and Thursday, September 15, 7-9pm, open to all levels of English speakers.  Click here for more information or contact Jim Burke, jimhburke at yahoo dot com.

Tuesday Ladies Bible Study

Morning LBS kicks off with a brunch on September 6 at 9:45am in the Chapel. Childcare is provided; please let us know if you will have a child attending. Learn more here.

Evening LBS begins September 13 at 7pm in the Upper Room. There is no childcare provided. Learn more here.

Wednesday Evening Activities Begin September 7

Fellowship Meals are served in the ROC from 5:30-6:30pm Wednesdays. Contact the church office to make an ongoing reservation (which must be placed each season), or by Monday noon to reserve your meal for that week. Please remember, too, that reservations must be paid for if not cancelled by Monday noon of the week reserved.  Meal costs: Adults (age 13 and up) $7, Children (age 12 and under) and Crew $4, Family Max $18.

WedNight BeforeAmen MLucadoPastor’s Bible Study meets in the Upper Room at 6:30pm to pray for the church and study Max Lucado’s book Before Amen (cost is $10), about one of our most important “Roots” as a church — Prayer. In his book, Lucado reminds his readers that prayer is not “a privilege for the pious nor the art of a chosen few. Prayer is simply a heartfelt conversation between God and his child. Let the conversation begin.”

Music Programs for All Ages! Grace Notes Children’s Handbells (for Grades 3-5) 6-6:30pm, MusicStaff1Kids for Praise graded choirs (three groups for age 4-Grade 5) 6:30-7:30pm, and Waves of Grace Youth (Grades 6-12) Choir 6:30-7:30pm and Handbells 7:30-8:30pm.
