Maintain your strength and balance with new exercises

Prime Time is sponsoring a dvd-based series of video exercises to strengthen our entire body and improve balance. We all know that good balance and a strong body are essential for continuing to live an active and independent life. Additionally, good balance is paramount in preventing falls as we age.

Beginning workouts include:

  • Gentle chair strength exercises while seated
  • Stationary balances and seated core work while seated
  • Walking and stepping balances using a chair
  • Leg strength exercises
  • Upper body strength and mobility (seated with hand weights)
  • Lower body stretches

The exercise group meets in the ROC on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:15. We invite you to join us. Those who have been working with the video to determine its value have very favorable
responses as to its effectiveness.
