Spring Women’s Ministry Schedule

Ladies are invited to join together for Bible Study where we learn from God’s Word, from our lesson, and from one another!  We have two groups that meet on Tuesdays, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study
LBS Armor of GodThe Morning Ladies Bible Study will have a brunch on Tuesday, April 18 at 9:45am in the Chapel. Ladies whose last names begin with M-Z, please bring a dish to share. Childcare is available. After some fellowship, we will watch the first video session of a 7 week video/small group study of Pricilla Shirer’s, The Armor of God (cost is $20). More than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, it is an action plan for putting on the Armor of God and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory throughout every aspect of life. Women’s Ministry “Tres Feast” Dinner

Winter Women’s Ministry Schedule

LBS 7 Experiment
Evening Ladies Bible Study will begin a new book study on January 5 at 7pm in the Upper Room of Jen Hatmaker’s book, The 7 Experiment, Staging Your Own Mutiny Against Excess (cost is $15.25).  This 9 session video/ small group discussion study teaches us how to stage a mutiny against excess in seven critical areas of our lives.  Sessions include: Food, Clothing, Possessions, Media, Waste, Spending, and Stress. Please contact Lisa Jenkins (lisamiljenk at gmail dot com) or Sandy Forrer (sandy dot forrer at gmail dot com) for more information and to reserve a book. … (more)

Women’s Ministry “Tres Feast” Breakfast Fellowship

Fall Tres Feast - Ladies BreakfastWomen, ages 14 and up, are invited to our fall “Tres Feast”– Feeding Mind, Body, and Soul on Saturday, September 19 from 9:30am-12:00pm in the Chapel. Ladies Bible Study Summer Meetings!

Ladies, join the Evening Bible Study for a special summer meeting on Tuesday, July 14 at 7pm in the Upper Room to view the movie God’s Not Dead (bring your own popcorn) and again on Tuesday, July 21 at 7pm in the Upper Room for small group discussion of the movie.  Contact Sandy Forrer for more information.

Ladies Bible Study Spring Schedule

Ladies, we hope you will join us for Bible Study where we learn from God’s Word, from our lesson and from one another!

The Ladies Morning Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:45am to 11:15am with childcare available.  The morning group will begin a study of Jennifer Rothschild’s book,LBS MeMyselfLies JRothschild Me, Myself and Lies, on April 14 in Room D215/216 (book available for $15). This six-week Bible study for women encourages us to clean out the junk in our thoughts and replace these hidden negative thoughts and failures with positive truths from God’s Word. Rather than struggling with self-esteem, body image, stress and other unhealthy thoughts and emotions, learn to replace the lies you may have been telling yourself with the truth from God’s Word. Contact Sue Adams for more information.

The Ladies Evening Bible Study meets on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm with no childcare available.  The evening group will finish our study of Liz Curtis Higgs’ book, Bad Girls of the Bible and What We Can Learn From Them (cost $13).  In this study, we will learn from the story of a different woman each week. Then April 28, the evening group will begin a study of Lysa TerKuerst’s book, Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl: Living the Faith after Bible Class Is Over, Tuesdays at 7pm in the Upper Room. LBS Becoming More LysaTerKeurstBook available for $14.50 and participants guide available for $8.75. This six session video/small group study will help us discover, or rediscover, how to want to know God better, more personally, and more intimately by:

  • Building personal, two-way conversations with God.
  • Studying the Bible and experiencing life change for yourself.
  • Cultivating great authenticity and depth in your relationships.
  • Making disappointments work for you, not against you.
  • Finding incredible joy as you live out your faith in everyday circumstances.

Women’s Ministry “Tres Feast” Breakfast Fellowship

“Tres Feast” is an event that gives women opportunity to feed the body, mind and soul as they fellowship together.  Women, ages 14 and up, are invited to a ladies’ breakfast fellowship on Saturday, March 28 from 9:30am-12:00pm in the Chapel.  We will have a catered meal and hear from speaker Laura Acuña on “A Clean Slate: Your Past Does Not Define Your Future.”  Contact Cyndi Word to purchase your ticket for $12 a person.
