Costs. The retreat cost is $300. Some Students are already paid, but most have a balance due. Please pay this as soon as possible. All payments must be in by the end of June.

Students need to bring some additional money for 3 meals: Travel up and back (fast food) and a dinner during our free day. $25 is a safe amount.

Students will also have several additional ways in which they can blow through any amount of disposable income you provide them with during the week.

Meals. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are covered for the trip, except for those listed in the “Costs” section.

Forms. Students need to have 2 notarized forms for their trip. These forms are identical (one for retreat staff, one for RBC) and include medical information and consent to treat. These need to be turned in by the end of June.

Ministry Tracks. Each day we will be participating in various ministry tracks. Students get to choose their ministry track at the beginning of the week and will continue in this track throughout the week. Here is a list of these tracks:

  • Children’s Ministry
  • Social Ministry
  • Painting, Construction, and Yardwork Ministry
  • Creative Ministry
  • Games and Recreation Ministry

Final Meeting. On Sunday, July 5, there will be a final meeting to make sure all final details are covered for the trip. This meeting will take place at 9:40am in the Barn.

Parent Devotions. Lifeway has provided a devotional series for Parents that coincides with what Students will be learning throughout the week. This also has a basic daily itinerary to help you pray for us while we are away.

We are excited about this trip and what God is going to do in the lives of Students! Please do be in prayer for us, even as we prepare for the trip. Feel free to contact Kevin with any questions you may have: 301-977-1000 (O), 301-926-1060 (H), 410-903-3482 (C), or send a message.
