Summer Sports Camp Survival List

The following should be brought to camp on the corresponding days.  It is not required that you purchase any equipment (except shin guards for soccer) that you do not currently own.

If you got it, bring it… (and please label it so it doesn’t get lost)!

Since the gym will be open, we may have all sports spend some time doing drills inside.  If your child is wearing cleats to camp- please have them bring a pair of sneakers as well.  They will need to put them on in case they go inside to cool off and play.

What to bring:

Fundamentals: Clothes/shoes for playing outdoors, hat

T-ball: Bat, glove, cleats (rubber/plastic only), hat

Soccer: Cleats, shin guards (required for soccer), soccer ball, hat

5 on 5 football: Cleats, hat

Basketball-indoors: Court shoes, basketball, water bottle

For all outdoor sports: Water bottle (water will be provided to refill bottles) Sunscreen, Bug spray, Hat, Bag lunch (if you choose to stay for optional group lunch at 11:30 a.m.)

What else do I need to know?

The last day of each week of camp, a pizza lunch will be provided at no charge (parents are welcome)

Camp will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end at 11:30 am.

All children should arrive 5 minutes early (by 8:55 am)

Do not drop off a child at the church unless an adult is present (not before 8:45am).

If your child is staying for lunch, he/she should be picked up no later than 12:00pm.  (A late fee will be collected from parents who pick their children up late)

All parents are welcome to stay and watch but are not required.

Children are expected to obey camp rules and be respectful to the staff and other campers.  If a child causes a consistent disruption to the camp or causes a safety hazard to themselves or others by their actions that they will be removed from camp and part of the registration fee may be forfeited.
