New Orleans 2008

On May 11, 2008, 21 members of Redland Baptist Church will travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, to serve for a week alongside other volunteers to help restore some of the devastating damage from Hurricane Katrina.

This is the third consecutive year that a team from Redland Baptist Church has traveled to the Gulf Coast area to help the storm victims.  We will be serving meals to needy residents, helping to restore storm damaged homes and churches, assisting in community relief programs and helping to clean up storm damage in some of New Orlean's poorest neighborhoods.

Our purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission directive in Matthew 28:18 by showing God's love for His people.
