The Adult Sunday School Department plays an integral role in the nurturing of our church members on the Word of God. We are very fortunate to have a contingent of exceptional teachers that lead various age groups ranging from the young college student to the senior citizen.
Meeting every Sunday morning starting at 9:40 am, Sunday School members enjoy a warm cup of coffee while socializing with their fellow classmates before the start of a lesson. It's not only a time of discipleship, but also a time of fellowship. Classes end promptly at 10:50 am.
Classes are subdivided into an assortment of age brackets as well as mixed-age group classes. Most classes follow a Bible book study series; others meet on special topics, such as current events from a Biblical point of view.
Not only are the students fed with the Lord's Word, they also enjoy social events that are coordinated within their class. Common social events within the classes may include a progressive dinner, a trip to Sight & Sound in Pennsylvania, a trip to Kings Dominion, a family picnic, or a trip to a sporting event.
