Located in Nairobi, Kenya, Amani ya Juu is a sewing/marketing training project for marginalized women -- many of them refugees. The name, “Amani ya Juu” comes from the Swahili language meaning "higher peace." The women have learned to work together because of their faith in God who provides a higher peace that transcends all cultural differences.
