Redland is again a collection center for Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week, November 12-19, 2018! OCC makes it possible for millions of children to experience God’s love through shoeboxes filled with gifts. These shoeboxes open doors for presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Amani ya Juu (“higher peace” in Swahili) is a non-profit sewing and training program for marginalized women in Africa. Women at Amani are learning to work together through faith in God who provides a peace that transcends all cultural and ethnic differences.
It is our privilege to partner with our African sisters to host our 7th annual sale of Amani ya Juu products in the ROC Foyer on Saturday, November 10, 9am-5pm and Sunday, November 11, 1-4pm. Handcrafted items include: bags, jewelry, kitchen and home décor, Christmas items and more in a wide range of prices. Start your Christmas shopping early and support the wonderful women of Amani!
Faithful Volunteers: Our Trunk or Treat Fall Family Fun event from 6-8pm at Redland Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 31 has been cancelled because of a lower level of volunteer participation than expected. Please pick up any candy you might have already donated this Wednesday night or Sunday. Some Wednesday night activities will still happen on October 31, but there will be no Pastor’s Bible Study, Children’s Choirs or Fellowship Meal. We are sorry for any inconvenience but want you to connect with your neighbors in your community that night!
Our ESL classes provide a fun experience in learning English at all levels of proficiency and teach both conversational skills and literacy. Separate classes for all levels meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm, September through June. Registration for 2018-2019 ESL Classes will be held Monday, August 27 at 7pm. Join us for our Spring Family Fun Event – Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 at 10am! This event is for children birth through Grade 5 and their families. RBC is hosting a Football Sunday community outreach event in the ROC on Sunday, February 4 at 6pm to watch the big game with a special halftime video testimony. The Worship Ministry of Redland Baptist Church presents A Night of Carols! on Sunday, December 18 at 4pm featuring Kids for Praise 2 and 3 Children’s Choirs, Waves of Grace Youth Choir and Handbells, Celebration Bells, RBC Orchestra and Sanctuary Choir. Childcare is available for two years-old and younger during the presentation. A “Tasting Party” reception follows, featuring Christmas treats prepared by the RBC Family.
