Football Sunday, February 3

RBC is hosting a Football Sunday community outreach event in the ROC on Sunday, February 3 at 6pm!

Invite a friend or neighbor and come watch the big game — shown on multiple screens — with a special halftime video testimony. There will be a hot dog bar with 25+ toppings provided. Bring your favorite football dish and a 2 liter of soda to share, and a tailgate chair/blanket. This is a kid-friendly event with space for the kids to play and a moon bounce. Come out to enjoy the football game and other activities, games, door prizes and more!

Invite cards for your friends and neighbors are available with Football Sunday info and to invite them back to a Family Ministry equipping event — helping you connect with your neighbors!

Maintain your strength and balance with new exercises

Prime Time is sponsoring a dvd-based series of video exercises to strengthen our entire body and improve balance. We all know that good balance and a strong body are essential for continuing to live an active and independent life. Additionally, good balance is paramount in preventing falls as we age.

Beginning workouts include:

  • Gentle chair strength exercises while seated
  • Stationary balances and seated core work while seated
  • Walking and stepping balances using a chair
  • Leg strength exercises
  • Upper body strength and mobility (seated with hand weights)
  • Lower body stretches

The exercise group meets in the ROC on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:15. We invite you to join us. Those who have been working with the video to determine its value have very favorable
responses as to its effectiveness.

So, Prime Timers, let’s get movin’!!
