Foster Child Gift Card Drive

Support youth in foster care by purchasing a $25 gift card from Target or Best Buy and bringing it back to the church by December 9You may also write a check instead, and a gift card will be purchased on your behalf.  Contact Linda R. for more details.

Our goal is to collect gift cards for all 36 children currently in care through Building Families for Children, the foster care agency we support.

OC Mission Trip – Family Style: Aug 3-10, 2019

More details are coming, but here’s what you can expect:

  • Family-style mission trip:  Youth, children, parents, and other adults are encouraged to join in! (Minimum age TBA)
  • Construction projects
  • Kids Bible projects
  • Sports ministry
  • Outreach to internationals
  • Time for family outings
  • Great relational depth
  • Cost is TBA, likely $200-$250 per person

Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week

Redland is again a collection center for Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week, November 12-19, 2018! OCC makes it possible for millions of children to experience God’s love through shoeboxes filled with gifts. These shoeboxes open doors for presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Amani ya Juu Fair Trade Craft Sale

Amani ya Juu (“higher peace” in Swahili) is a non-profit sewing and training program for marginalized women in Africa. Women at Amani are learning to work together through faith in God who provides a peace that transcends all cultural and ethnic differences.

Amani white logoIt is our privilege to partner with our African sisters to host our 7th annual sale of Amani ya Juu products in the ROC Foyer on Saturday, November 10, 9am-5pm and Sunday, November 11, 1-4pm.  Handcrafted items include: bags, jewelry, kitchen and home décor, Christmas items and more in a wide range of prices.  Start your Christmas shopping early and support the wonderful women of Amani!

The Great Date Night with Mark Cable on November 16

All adults are welcome to join us for an evening of laughter, music, and desserts for a night that will surely be memorable.  Couples of all ages will enjoy reminiscing about their own joys and struggles of married life.

The event will be held Friday, November 16 at 7pm in the ROC Foyer at Redland Baptist Church.

Ocean City summer mission trip – Family style

Attention families, we are working to put together a mission trip to Ocean City Baptist Church on August 3-10, 2019. Youth, children, parents, and other adults are encouraged to join in! (Minimum age TBA). Begin praying about making your “vacation” a powerful family mission experience this summer!

Ministry projects may include: construction, kids Bible projects, sports ministry, outreach to internationals, and time for family outings and great relational depth with fellow mission trip team members. Cost is TBA, likely $200-$250 per person.

Family Fun Day on October 6!

Families of all ages are invited to join us for an activity-filled day at Winterbrook Farms in Thurmont, Maryland on Saturday, October 6.  Register here.

The farm is known for its corn maze and has dozens of other fun activities, including zip line, hayrides, trike track, apple cannon, petting zoo, giant slide, and more!

Stay as long as you like and stop in to visit with fellow Redland families at our bonfire space from 3-7pm with free hot dogs and s’mores! Other concessions are available.

Look for a family discussion sheet to have a faith talk on your way there.
Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for kids, 4′ tall or less.  Pay at the gate and get $1 off per ticket by mentioning you are with the Redland Baptist Church group.
