Hey Prime Time Seniors!
Thank you so much for attending the “End of Summer Bash” on September 29. We had a ball! The food was good and we enjoyed the opportunity to fellowship with each other.
We owe a debt of gratitude to Linda Rowe, who took the lead in organizing this event. As usual, she did a super job. Thanks, Linda.
We look forward to our next group fellowship opportunity…our Christmas party in December!! A firm date will be announced in upcoming newsletters. Stay tuned.

Don’t Forget about our new strength and balance exercise program in the ROC!

Around 10am, we begin a dvd-based series of video exercises to strengthen our entire body and improve balance. We all know that good balance and a strong body are essential for continuing to live an active and independent life. Additionally, good balance is paramount in preventing falls as we age. Come join us and get moving!

All men are invited and encouraged to take a few hours for meaningful work on Saturday, October 13. It all starts at 8:00 AM in the ROC Foyer, where we will enjoy a light breakfast and short devotional. Then we will gear up for some important church workday tasks.
Task 1: Install insulation and plexiglass in the Grace in Store room
Experience needed: None, though some handyman skills are helpful
Why this matters: The Grace in Store ministry is renovating a physical space that will become a thrift store for the community. Your efforts will help provide a comfortable environment for people – including low-income residents – buy inexpensive items they need.
Task 2: Run network cables in the Adult Ed wing
Experience needed: None. Matt J. will be on-site to oversee the project
Why this matters: Our church is extending its WiFi access for personal and teaching purposes. Your efforts will allow members to utilize WiFI and also provide hardwired access for our media equipment. This means reliable connections for teaching videos and new TVs being installed in some rooms.
The church workday is for all ages and genders, but these are some special projects we’ve carved out as important for our men to accomplish. Please RSVP by contacting the church office to help us plan breakfast and projects.
